ABOUT
Omar Muratore, known as Yonada, was born in Mede (PV, Italy) in 1988; he dedicates himself to the music since 2010, when he decides to study at the Conservatoy "A. Vivaldi" in Alessandria, where he graduates in Jazz Singing, on december 2013.
At the age of 19 he began to write lyrics and poems which succed, with the help of his studies, to put into music. The topics discussed are always different, the research of new stories to tell is perpetual, because in his songs the moral is depict by the characters, some of fantasy, some real, who seeks to approach us e to make us think, with the use of metaphore, on society and on the modern era.
In 2014 he performs at the Tour Music Fest, afterwards to classes at the C.E.T. by Mogol and, at the beginning of 2015, at the festival "Nuova Musica Italiana", where he's chosen to perform between 150 candidates, reduced to 10 finalist (in the jury Mogol himself); he came home with a strong determination to collect some of those stories in his album. He doesn't search for shortcuts, but produces it in complete autonomy, self-financing the whole project, titled "Vado a piedi".
After a long preparation, and numerous unforseen events, on the 14th of November 2016 the EP is available on every digital platform of streaming and digital download, as well as in fisical copy. It's the conquest of the first goal, not the arrival but a start point.
Omar Muratore, in arte Yonada, nato a Mede (PV) nel 1988; da libero sfogo alla sua passione per la musica nel 2010, quando decide di iscriversi al Conservatorio “A. Vivaldi” di Alessandria, frequentando il corso di Jazz – Indirizzo Canto, dove si laurea nel dicembre 2013.
A 19 anni inizia a scrivere testi e poesie che successivamente, mediante lo studio in Conservatorio, riesce a musicare. I temi trattati sono sempre diversi, la ricerca di nuove storie da raccontare è costante, perché nelle sue canzoni la morale è raccontata da personaggi, ora di fantasia, ora reali, che cercano di avvicinarci e di far riflettere attraverso metafore, sulla società, sul moderno.
Nel 2014 partecipa al Tour Music Fest, successivamente ai corsi presso il C.E.T. di Mogol e all’inizio del 2015 al festival “Nuova Musica Italiana” dove viene scelto ad esibirsi tra una rosa di 150 candidati, ridotti a 10 finalisti (in giuria, lo stesso Mogol); ritorna a casa con una forte determinazione a voler raccogliere alcune di queste storie all’interno di un disco. Non cerca scorciatoie ma produce in completa autonomia, finanziando di tasca propria, l’intero progetto, dal titolo “Vado a Piedi”.
Dopo una lunga gestazione, tra stop e infinite partenze, il 14 novembre 2016, il disco è disponibile su tutte le piattaforme di streaming e di download digitale, oltre che in copia fisica. E’ il raggiungimento di una prima meta, non un arrivo ma un punto di partenza.
